AIB has updated its AML requirements for Legal Personal Representatives (LPRs) when releasing funds from a deceased customer’s accounts.

Solicitors with carriage of the administration of an estate can certify copies of the LPR’s AML documentation and forward same to AIB without requiring the LPR to attend at an AIB branch.
